Neutral Foam Shampoo is a 2 in 1 neutral pH car shampoo: by hand or with a foam gun. The product creates a soft, compact and lubricated foam to avoid the formation of swirls and microscratches. Used by hand with a bucket, Neutral Foam Shampoo boasts excellent economy of use: it is in fact possible to dilute it up to 1:400 (1 part product and 400 part water), making it ideal for frequent or maintenance washes.

FIRST PHASE: PREWASH WITH FOAM GUN

  • Dilute the product in Foam Gun in the ratio 1:10 (1 part product and 10 parts water)
  • We dispense the solution obtained over the entire vehicle, always from the bottom upwards.
  • Wait for the product to act for approximately 4 minutes so that the foam thins out, being careful not to allow it to dry on the bodywork. Let’s make sure we work in the shade and with a cold bodywork.
  • We can then proceed with rinsing with high pressure starting from top to bottom. The easy rinsing of the product allows you to easily remove the foam, in a short time and without leaving residues.
  • After the pre-wash you will be able to proceed with manual washing with a bucket with greater safety, having already removed 80% of the dirt and in particular all the coarse dirt, which risks causing the most damage if dragged onto the bodywork with a sponge or washing glove .

SECOND PHASE: HAND WASHING WITH BUCKET

  • Dilute just 3 caps of product in a bucket with 10L of water: Neutral Foam Shampoo has an ultra-concentrated formulation with a shiny action and neutral pH.
  • Use a second bucket with clean water to rinse the glove. Work starting from the top and always with the vehicle wet with a soft sponge or microfibre glove.
  • Proceed in small areas, using the minimum pressure possible with the glove/sponge: let the product do the cleaning and not the force applied. Rinse the glove or sponge frequently in the bucket of clean water before moving on to the next panel. In this way you will remove the coarse dirt particles that remain trapped in the sponge itself and which could have an abrasive effect or worse create scratches on the paint, in the subsequent steps.
    Neutral Foam Shampoo creates a soft, compact and highly lubricated foaming film which makes it safe on any type of surface, allowing you to wash the car without the risk of creating swirls or microscratches.
    Proceed with washing the entire vehicle, avoiding letting the shampoo dry on the bodywork.
    During washing, its bubble gum fragrance will leave you pleasantly surprised.
    Once you have finished washing with a glove or sponge you can proceed with thorough rinsing and subsequent drying with our ultra-absorbent Super Dryer cloth.

Our advice is to use two Super Dryer drying cloths: one dedicated to the bodywork, another dedicated to the windows, in order to leave the latter as dry as possible. You can also use Super Dryer to finish profiles or delicate details. Furthermore, when drying the side of the car or the lower parts, fold the drying cloth to prevent it from touching the ground, picking up dirt which could create scratches.

Make sure the surface of the vehicle is not hot and that the car is in the shade avoiding direct sun. The first phase is always pre-washing. In the presence of heavily anchored dirt, the advice is to carry out a pre-wash with our “Foam Gun Prewash” to remove coarse dirt present on the surface to prevent the formation of scratches and facilitate the subsequent manual washing phase. We suggest using the two-bucket washing method (one with the shampoo/water solution and the other with just clean water) in combination with a microfiber glove like our Double Face Glove or a sponge/pad like our Comfort Car Wash Pad. To wash the rims and tires use an additional tool (sponge or glove). Using the rack in the bucket helps remove dirt and impurities from the glove or sponge causing it to settle to the bottom of the bucket. It is recommended to wash your vehicle every one to two weeks.

  • Always in the shade

    Wash your car in a shaded area and never in direct sunlight to prevent the shampoo from drying out and causing stains.

  • Never on hot bodywork

    If the car has been exposed to the sun or the bonnet is very hot, cool the surface with a jet of cold water.

  • Start from the top

    It is the least dirty part, you will avoid dirtying the glove: washing will be faster.

  • Try using two buckets

    In the first you will put the solution of water and shampoo, in the second only water to rinse the sponge or glove frequently: you will avoid scratching the bodywork.

  • Wash small portions at a time

  • Perfect circles

    To clean the rims, use a brush that can reach the most hidden points.

What is the difference between a prewash with Foam Gun Prewash and one with Neutral Foam Shampoo?

While Foam Gun Prewash has a deeper cleaning action in the prewash phase, it is ideal for dirty cars or cars that have traveled many kilometres.

Can I use just one bucket for washing?

No, you must always use 2 buckets: one bucket with the water/shampoo solution, while the second bucket with only clean water. Every time you finish passing the glove over a car panel, first rinse it in the bucket with clean water and then immerse it in the bucket with the water and shampoo solution. In this way you will prevent any residues still present on the surface from clinging to the washing glove and being moved from one panel to another, creating micro-scratches called swirls.

In a bucket of 12 liters of water, knowing that each cap is 10ml of product, how many caps should I pour into the bucket to have a dilution of 1:400?

If I got the dilution wrong by pouring too much product what can happen?

The product is neutral and even in overdose creates no problems on the bodywork. Used in foam gun the foam will be more full-bodied and heavy and will tend to fall off sooner defeating its emollient action on dirt. Used as a shampoo in the bucket there will be no contraindications.
